Other than the Pha That Malar Stupa, the two other important cultural sights that travellers should not miss include the Donekeo Stupa and the Pha Thongshamsy Buddha image.
Donekeo Stupa is located in Nathong Village Phonhong District. It is a historical and cultural tourist site, built over 500 years ago. Apart from the Stupa, the village is also very famous for the big Rocket which people worship and respect. The rocket festival is held in mid February around the Donekeo Stupa area.
The sacred Pha Thongshamsy Buddha image is thought to be 300 years old. It is kept at Vat Pa Temple in Lingxanh Village, Thoulakhom District.
